Vaad of Ukraine has initiated a signing of the Statement after a
dozen conflicts and fights in media between the Jewish leaders of
Ukraine in 1997-2003.
The Statement was signed on March 9, 2004.
National
communities of Ukraine together with a considerable part of the
Jewish community of Ukraine express their anxiety about an opportunity
to build the Jewish Community Center "Heritage" in Babi

the "Joint" initiative (within the framework of the program
of creation a community centers network in CIS) it is supposed to
construct a Jewish community centre in Kiev with a theatre, numerous
circles for children and adults, youth club, sports halls and cafe
